VB Brand Systems

Summary

VB Brand Systems is an app that brings together a brand's manual, a file library and an AI chat that answers from the manual.

• Goal: keep in one place what the brand believes, how it speaks, how it looks and the files to use.
• What I did: I built the app during the Atlas workshop, by Overlens. Then I prepared a whitelabel version and four skills for the AI agent.
• Result: a public template on GitHub, in English and Portuguese, that runs in demo mode with no account or key.
• Stack: Claude Code, Supabase and the Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Gemini providers.
• Background: the Atlas workshop, by Overlens, in May 2026, with the public version in October 2026.

Context

In May 2026 I took part in the Atlas workshop, by Overlens.

There I learned from zero how to build a brand system with AI, through Claude Code.

I like to acquire knowledge in an active way, by doing.

As the classes moved forward, I applied what I had learned and built the tool.

I made everything during the classes and did not touch it again after that.

What I did

I created VB Brand Systems, an app that keeps in one place what the brand believes, how it speaks, how it looks and the files to use it.

The app has three parts:

• the manual, in pages that go from the brand's purpose to the colors, the typography and the applications;
• the assets, a library with eight categories of files to search, preview and download;
• the chat, an AI assistant that answers from the pages of the manual and cites the section it used.

The pages are text files. What is written in them is what the AI knows about the brand.

In October 2026 I went back to the project.

I refined the interface and prepared the whitelabel, a version that another person receives ready and replaces with their own brand.

They receive a structure that is practically plug and play, with few API connections, for personal or professional use.

Two modes

Demo mode is the default. It asks for no account, database or key.

Full mode turns on the login, the members, the file uploads and the chat history. It asks for a Supabase project and the key of an AI provider.

The chat accepts three providers: Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Gemini.

The app exists in English and Portuguese. It runs on one computer or for a team on the same network, with no hosting.

I also wrote four skills, which are ready-made commands for the AI agent:

• brand-setup, which guides the first setup;
• brand-content, which creates, edits and reorders pages in both languages;
• brand-doctor, which checks the install without changing anything;
• brand-translate, which adds another language.

Result

The result is a brand system that is ready and functional.

It was born on May 18, 2026. Only in October, after refining it, did I publish the version on GitHub.

Version 0.1.0 came out on October 9, 2026, as a template. Personal and professional use is free, and selling or hosting the system as a product is not allowed.
